Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids are self-fitting OTC hearing aids you can buy, fit, program, and control on your own, without help from a healthcare professional.

With the Lexie app you can customize your hearing experience with the in-app hearing test, giving you optional recommended settings to suit your hearing needs. Use the in-app adjustable features to further customize your listening experience.

The lightweight, behind-the-ear (BTE) design of Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids is discrete and comfortable enough to wear all day. Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids offer clinically proven audiologist-quality customization to help adults 18 years and older with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss hear better.

Telling your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids apart is easy. The receiver-in-canal (RIC) wires (the wires attached to your hearing aids) will show you which one is left and right.

Blue is for left and red is for right. Each RIC wire is color coded and your hearing aids are marked with blue or red around the opening where the RIC wire connects.

TIP: Clean one hearing aid at a time so you don't get the parts mixed up.

With regular maintenance and cleaning your hearing aids can last for a long time. It's important to remember that your hearing needs can change over time, so you may need to upgrade your hearing aids with the latest technology.

Lexie Hearing also offers a Protection Plan for your OTC hearing aids. Learn more.

When you setup your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids with the Lexie app, you're able to take our in-app hearing test to help build your unique hearing profile. Your results calculate recommended settings. This is your recommended starting point for the World Volume and Treble and Bass for your hearing aids. When you accept the recommended settings your listening experience is customized to your unique hearing profile. You can easily change or adjust your hearing aids' settings from the controls screen of the Lexie app.

NOTE: The hearing aids are pre-assembled with open domes. To complete the in-app hearing test, please remove the open dome and attach a closed dome. Following completion of the test, select a dome that fits comfortably. To ensure accurate results, make sure that you perform the in-app hearing test in a quiet environment free from distractions and that your ears are clear of wax buildup.

The Lexie app applies default settings to your hearing aids should you skip the in-app hearing test or not apply your hearing profile following the test. These default settings can be adjusted to your hearing needs with the Lexie app. You can always complete the in-app hearing test and apply your hearing profile at a later time.

It turns out that not all Android™ phones support call streaming, or what is officially known as Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) compatibility, meaning they support ASHA functionality. To confirm your device is compatible with ASHA, refer to our FAQs at LexieHearing.com. Unfortunately, Lexie cannot guarantee streaming compatibility with all Android devices.

Bluetooth® technology is a wireless standard used in devices to connect and stream information between them, provided all devices are Bluetooth compatible and the Bluetooth feature is switched on.

Bluetooth can be switched off on your smartphone or tablet by accessing the settings page. However, on Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids, the Bluetooth function remains on automatically when your hearing aids are powered on. This Bluetooth feature allows commands such as World Volume and or Environment changes to be transmitted wirelessly from the Lexie app to your hearing aids.

NOTE: If the Bluetooth function is switched off on your smartphone or tablet, you won't be able to transfer app adjustments to your Lexie hearing aids or stream phone calls.

Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids will also allow you to stream phone calls directly from your iPhone® or Android™ device to your hearing aids using Bluetooth.

NOTE: Streaming will reduce the battery life of your smartphone or tablet and hearing aids.

Streaming functionality is designed for phone calls. While music and media streaming is possible, it is not optimal.

iOS®:

Your iPhone® should have Bluetooth® and your hearing aids need to be paired with it. If your hearing aids aren't listed in Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices > MFi (hearing aids shown as “connected”) you need to connect them to your iPhone by following these steps:

  7. You will now hear your iPhone ringtone and message alerts directly through your hearing aids.

NOTE: If you're having trouble pairing, power your hearing aids off and back on again before you connect or pair your hearing aids via the Accessibility page on your iPhone.

Android™:

If you completed the “setting up” process, your hearing aids should be paired to your smartphone and ready to stream phone calls if the Bluetooth on your phone is switched on. If you're unable to stream phone calls, complete the following steps:

  1. Ensure your hearing aids are powered on by pressing the World Volume down buttons for three seconds on each hearing aid.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is switched on in the Settings screen of your phone.
  3. Open the Settings app on your phone.

Both options should now appear under the Paired Devices list. Follow step 5 to complete the connection.

NOTE: Streaming functionality is designed for phone calls. While music and media streaming is possible, it is not optimal.

If you use your hearing aids to stream calls wirelessly, you can expect some drain on the battery. However, you should still be able to enjoy up to 18 hours of battery life.

Battery drain will be affected by how often you connect your hearing aids to the Lexie app, and how frequently the Lexie app is used for making adjustments to your hearing aids. This includes the frequency and duration of phone call streaming. If the battery is running low or you are concerned about running out of battery power, you can make manual World Volume adjustments on the Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids rather than the app.

Even if you stream for 6 hours, the battery should still last up to 18 hours.

  • Make sure Bluetooth® is switched on your smart device.
  • Confirm your hearing aids aren't already paired, which may sometimes happen automatically.
  • Ensure your smart device and hearing aids are within range for the connection to take place.
  • Check that any app or Wi-Fi access needed to work with on the smartphone is on.
  • Ensure there is enough data on your phone if Wi-Fi access is not available.
  • Unpair other devices that may already be paired with your hearing aids you're trying to pair.
  • Consider restarting the pairing process. Make sure to power your hearing aids off and back on again before restarting the pairing process via the Accessibility screen on your iPhone®.
  • Ensure airplane mode on your smartphone or device is switched off.

If you are having difficulty streaming from your smartphone (iOS® or Android™) to your hearing aids, follow these steps:

  1. Check your phone settings. Your phone might be set to flight mode or Bluetooth® might be switched off.
  2. Ensure your hearing aids are fully functional. By ensuring they are: 2.1 Charged. 2.2 Not muted. 2.3 World Volume is turned up to a comfortable level. 2.4 Sound outlet or wax guard is clear of any blockage.
  3. Switch Bluetooth off, give it a minute and switch it back on.
  4. Power your hearing aids off and back on again. Unpair your hearing aids from your smartphone. Power your hearing aids off and back on again before restarting the pairing process.

FOTA stands for Firmware Over-The-Air. It's a way for your hearing aids to wirelessly download and install software updates directly from a product manufacturer, like Lexie Hearing.

This means you don't need to connect your hearing aids to a computer or go to a store for updates, they happen automatically in the background. You'll receive a notification from the Lexie app when an upcoming FOTA update is ready.

You will need to update your Lexie app and download the update from the Google Play Store. To do so, follow these five easy steps:

Open the Google Play Store app, At the top right, tap the profile icon, Tap Manage apps & device, Find the “Lexie” app, Tap “Update”.

First you need to confirm with your phone carrier if your Android™ phone model supports Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) functionality since not all Android phones offer this feature.

If your device is not ASHA-enabled you can still use the Lexie app and hearing aids with your device.

The following devices do not support ASHA:

  • Samsung Galaxy A03s, A32 5G, A30
  • Motorola Edge

NOTE: This is not an exhaustive list. Confirm with your device manufacturer to see if your device is ASHA-enabled.

Although the following phones are ASHA enabled, their streaming quality is below our performance threshold, and Android streaming will not be made available:

  • All Google Pixel phones
  • Motorola G 5G 2023

Directionality is a setting that changes the focus of the microphones on your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids to different areas around you.

With the Lexie app you can choose between Front and Everywhere.

  • Front: The hearing aid microphone focuses on sound in front of you. This setting can help you hear better during group conversations at a restaurant table when there is a lot of background noise.

  • Everywhere: With this setting the hearing aid microphones aren't not focused on sounds in front of you, but help you hear sounds from all directions. This setting is ideal for general awareness and listening.

Make sure to charge your charging case, giving you an extra 18 hours of runtime when you're on the go.

To clean your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids, follow these steps:

  1. After removing your hearing aids, you need to clean three main parts. Domes: Gently remove earwax with the cleaning brush (provided) and wiping the dome. You can use a slightly damp cloth/wipe to remove wax debris from the inside and outside of the dome. Wax Guard: To access the wax guard, remove the dome as per user manual instructions, then use the cleaning brush (provided) to clear wax debris from inside the white wax guard. Remember to replace the dome correctly onto the RIC wire once the wax guard has been cleaned or replaced. Microphones: Gently brush away debris from the microphone openings using the cleaning brush (provided).
  2. Keep the receiver-in-canal (RIC) wire and hearing aid body, including the charging contacts, clean by wiping the outside of the wire and hearing aid with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  3. Replace the wax guards if you can't clear wax debris and they remain blocked or you notice that your hearing aids sound quieter than usual.

NOTE: If you use hair products or use your hearing aid when they are exposed to a lot of dust and dirt, you can use a lightly damp cloth to clean the hearing aid body.

Even with proper care, your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids' parts will eventually need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear.

By replacing these parts, you'll keep your hearing aids working at their best and ensure the best possible sound quality.

We recommend replacing:

  • Domes and Wax Guards every 3 months.
  • Receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) wires once a year.

TIP: If your hearing aids sound quieter than usual or if the audio is crackly or intermittent, replace the RIC wire immediately.

Yes, each hearing aid has a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

No. Each Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids contains a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

The battery life of the Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids, when fully charged, is up to 18 hours with typical usage.

The amount of time your hearing aid battery lasts on a single charge can change depending on how you use it. This is because different volume levels, wearing times, and features like phone call streaming can all affect the battery life.

When you use the phone call streaming feature, your hearing aid battery may drain faster. This is normal. Even if you stream for six hours, your battery should still last up to 18 hours on a single charge. Just keep in mind that using this feature can reduce your overall battery life.

To recharge your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids follow these steps:

  1. Insert your hearing aids: Put your hearing aids into the included charging case. Make sure the case's logo is facing towards you.
  2. Match the colors: Your hearing aids and charging case have color-coded labels to help you identify which one is which. The blue label is for the left hearing aid and the red label is for the right hearing aid.
  3. Connect to a power source: Plug the charging case into a wall outlet using the USB-C charging cable.
  4. Charge your hearing aids: Your hearing aids will start charging automatically, they'll take about three hours to be fully charged.

TIP: The charging case can store an extra full charge so you can charge on-the-go, even when not connected to a wall outlet!

Yes it can! Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids comes with a rechargeable charging case that can recharge your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids with one extra full charge before the case will need to be connected to a wall outlet to recharge your case and your hearing aids.

You can easily check the charging status of your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids and rechargeable case by looking at the lights inside the case. Here's what you'll see:

  • Flashing lights: When the lights are flashing, it means that your hearing aids and/or the case are currently charging.
  • Solid lights: When the lights turn solid, it means that your hearing aids and/or the case have reached a full charge.

If you need more information on how to read the charging status lights, you can refer to the "Battery Charging Status" section in your user manual.

A red flashing light indicates that your hearing aids and or charging case are not charging.

Try the following troubleshooting tips to help you get your hearing aids and charging case working again:

  • If your charging case or hearing aids have been exposed to high temperatures, let them return to room temperature and then try charging again.
  • Try another wall charger or plug your charging case into your computer or laptop.
  • Check that the ends of your charging cable for any damage.

Your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids take three hours to fully charge.

NOTE: It will take longer for the hearing aids to charge if they are in the charging case while the charging case is also charging

You can monitor the battery life of your hearing aids with the Lexie app. The Connection status indicators on your controls screen provide a view of your battery life.

If your hearing aids are connected to the app and the battery level reaches below 20% you will be prompted that your batteries are low. If the hearing aid battery drops below 10% you will be prompted that your batteries are critically low.

If you hear a “battery low” voice prompt from one of the hearing aids, it's time to charge your hearing aids.

You should be able to use your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids immediately after removing them from the charging case for the first time.

Sometimes, there might be a gap between when the hearing aids are made and when you get them, which can lead to the batteries losing some power naturally. If your hearing aids don't connect to your phone right away when you're setting them up, it's a good idea to charge them fully first.

Remember to remove the pull-out label from inside the case before charging for the first time.

If you're still experiencing problems, contact one of our Lexie Experts® using the Lexie app, or call us on (800) 499-1336 or visit lexiehearing.com/us/support

When your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids are fully charged, the lights inside the charging case will stop flashing and turn solid. This indicates that your hearing aids have reached a full charge.

If you'd like to learn more about how to read the status lights in your charging case, you can find more information in the "Battery Charging Status" section of your user manual.

On the Lexie app, your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids may show different battery levels for the left and right hearing aid.

This is because each hearing aid might be set up differently depending on your unique hearing profile. Each hearing aid will then drain their battery differently.

But if your hearing aids are set up with the same settings, their batteries should drain equally.

If you're worried that your hearing aids are not charging properly, try these troubleshooting tips:

  • If your charging case or hearing aids have been exposed to extreme temperatures, let them return to room temperature and then try charging again.
  • Try another wall charger or plug your charging case into your computer or laptop.
  • Check that the ends of your charging cable for any damage.
  • Check that the charging port at the back of your charging case for any damage.

TIP: Before charging your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids, make sure to inspect the charging contacts on the hearing aids and inside the case. If you notice any debris or dirt, use a dry lint free cloth to remove debris, ensuring proper contact between the devices. This will help prevent any issues with charging and ensure your hearing aids are getting the charge they need.

If this problem persists, contact one of our Lexie Experts® using the Lexie app, or call us on (800) 499-1336.

You can also check page 98 & 99 of the user manual for more troubleshooting tips.

To keep your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids working properly, it's important to clean the charging contacts at the bottom of your hearing aids and inside the charging case regularly. Simply use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe them clean.

If you are in a humid area, you may need to take extra steps to keep your hearing aids dry. We recommend placing them in an airtight container with drying crystals or using an electronic hearing aid dryer. However, make sure to choose a dryer that is specifically designed for rechargeable hearing aids, as they operate at lower temperatures than other dryers. Shop now.

Before using an electronic dryer, check the manufacturer's specifications to ensure it's suitable for your rechargeable hearing aids.

TIP: Before charging your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids, check the charging contacts on both the devices and the case for any dirt or debris. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean them. This ensures good contact and prevents charging issues.

There are a few reasons why your charging case for your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids is not charging your hearing aids.

Try these troubleshooting tips:

  • Try another wall charger or plug your charging case into your computer or laptop.
  • Check that the ends of your charging cable for any damage.
  • Check that the charging port at the back of your charging case for any damage.

Yes, each Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aid contains a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It can be taken onto airplanes as carry-on luggage.

No. Each Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aid contains a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

The following domes are included with your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids:

  • 3 x Pairs open domes (Size small, medium, large): These are better for when you have trouble with the sound of your own voice. These domes allow more external sounds into your ear. The hearing aid may seem a bit quieter when you wear one of these domes but it should still sound natural and clear.
  • 3 x Pairs closed domes (Size small, medium, large): They are better for when you are having trouble with whistling from your hearing aid or need the hearing aid to be a louder. Your ear will feel more blocked with this dome and it will take a bit of time to get used to your own voice.

When you do the in-app hearing test on the Lexie app make sure your hearing aids are fitted with closed domes.

To replace the receiver-in-canal (RIC) wires on your hearing aids, first, make sure you have the right size RIC wire. Your hearing aids come with a size 2 RIC wire, but you can find different lengths on the Lexie Hearing website. For the best fit, use the “Wire Sizing Tool” included in your package.

Here's how to replace the RIC wires:

  1. Remove the old wire:
  • Hold the body of the hearing aid at the top, where the RIC wire connects.
  • With your other hand, grip the wider end of the wire.
  • Avoid twisting the wire. Instead, you can use your fingernail in the groove between the wire and hearing aid to gently lift the wire, making it easier to pull off.
  • Be careful not to pull on the wire itself, as this can stretch and break it.
  1. Attach the new wire:
  • Align the red or blue marking on the new RIC wire with the matching color on the hearing aid.
  • Insert the wire into the port until you hear or feel a click.
  • Don’t forget to attach a new dome or reuse the one from your previous wire. Align it with the sound outlet and slide it on, then gently tug to ensure it's secure.

TIP: Replace your RIC wires annually, as old or damaged RIC wires can cause your hearing aids to sound quieter or distorted.

Watch the How to Video to see how to replace your RIC wires.

If your receiver-in-canal (RIC) wire isn't working properly, don’t worry! Here’s what you can do:

First check if the RIC wire is damaged:

  1. Gently wipe the RIC wire with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
  2. Take a close look at the wire for any visible damage, like kinks or stretching.
  3. If you see any damage, it’s time to replace the RIC wire right away. If everything looks fine, the issue may be a blocked dome or wax filter.

If the RIC wire isn't damage their maybe a blocked dome or wax guard:

  1. Remove the dome from the RIC wire to access the white wax guard.
  2. Use the cleaning brush provided to clear any wax or debris from the wax guard. If the blockage doesn't come out, replace the wax guard with a new one. You can find helpful instructions in the user manual or our "how to replace the wax guard" video.
  3. Remember to clean both the outside and inside of the dome before putting it back on. Our how-to videos can guide you with this!

TIP: If after cleaning or replacing the wax guards and domes, your hearing aids still sound quieter or the sound quality is off, it maybe time to replace your RIC wire.

You can easily get new RIC wires on the Lexie app or our website.

If you need more help, contact our Lexie Experts® seven days a week from 8am to 9pm EST at (800) 499-1336 or via the Lexie app.

Your receiver-in-canal (RIC) wires can collect dirt and debris, which can affect how well your hearing aids work. If not cleaned regularly, it may even cause the receiver at the end of the wire to stop functioning properly.

Here are the three main parts you need to clean regularly:

RIC Wire: Gently wipe the RIC wire with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Wax guard: This is super important! First, remove the dome to get to the white wax guard. Use the cleaning brush to clear away any wax buildup. If it’s clogged and you can't clean it, it's best to replace it right away.

Domes: Before putting the dome back on, clean both the inside and outside. If there's stubborn wax, try using a slightly damp cloth or wipe to help remove it.

TIP: For the best performance, clean your RIC daily, especially if you have a lot of earwax. But don't go longer than a week without giving it a clean.

If you think your receiver-in-canal (RIC) wire might be faulty or damaged, look out for the following:

Volume: Your hearing aids may sound quieter than normal. Sound quality: You might notice crackling or distorted sounds. Performance: The sound could be intermittent or cut in and out. Visual: There may be visible damage along the wire.

TIP: Make sure to check your whole hearing aid for any visible damage or blockages. Wax blockages in the dome and especially in the wax guard (located under the dome) are often the main causes affecting your hearing aid performance.

You should replace your wax guards every three months, and if you struggle with earwax you may need to replace them more regularly.

You can easily access the wax guard by removing the dome from the receiver-in-canal (RIC) wire. These white filters help keep earwax and debris from affecting your hearing aids' performance. If you notice blockages inside the wax guard that you can't clear with the cleaning brush (included), or if your hearing aids sound quieter than usual, it's time to replace the wax guards.

Don’t forget to clean and re-attach the dome after you've cleaned or replaced the wax guard!

It’s a good idea to make inspecting and cleaning the wax guard part of your weekly, or even daily, routine.

Also, be sure to clean your domes regularly and replace them every 3-4 months, or even sooner if needed.

You can purchase replacement domes and wax guard online through the Lexie hearing website or on your Lexie app.

Shop hearing aid accessories.

Use the wax guard replacement tool included with your new replacement wax guards, follow these steps to fit your new wax guards to your hearing aids:

  1. On the hearing aid, remove the dome.

  2. At the end of the receiver, insert the smaller, ridged end of the wax guard tool into the center of the white wax guard.

  3. Pull out the old wax guard and remove it from the end of the wax guard tool. TIP: Angle the tip of the wax guard tool so it presses against the inside of the wax guard, then pull back to remove it.

  4. Pick up the new wax guard and insert the larger, white end of the wax guard tool into the center of the new wax guard.

  5. Guide the new wax guard into the receiver so that it's flush with the top of the receiver, then pull the tool straight out. TIP: Be sure the wax guard sits flush against the receiver. This ensures it's secure and helps prevent it from falling off in your ear canal.

  6. Reattach the dome. TIP: You should replace your wax guards every three months, and if you struggle with earwax you may need to replace them more regularly.

Wax guards are like a filter that collect wax and moisture. They prevent debris from entering the speaker (receiver) part of your hearing aids.

No, hearing aid wax guards are not the same. Depending on your hearing aids, the size of the wax guard can vary.

We recommend not using wax guards from other hearing aid manufacturers as they can potentially fall out can get lodged in your ear canal.

Get your Lexie wax guards.

No, wearing your hearing aids without the wax guards exposes the speakers to wax buildup, moisture and debris. The wax guards protect your speaker and hearing aid from permanent damage.

If your hearing aids don't switch on, the most common reasons are a low or dead battery or a blockage caused by wax or moisture.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Clean your hearing aids and your charging case's charging points with a dry lint-free cloth.

  2. Charge your Lexie B2 Plus Hearing Aids and see if the hearing aids power on.

  3. If this doesn't help, ensure that your wax guards, domes and microphone inlets are free from wax and moisture. To clean your hearing aids: Use the cleaning brush and a lint-free cloth to remove any debris from the wax guards, domes and microphone inlet. If you're unable to remove wax build-up from the dome and/or wax guard, we recommend replacing them immediately. To dry your hearing aids: using a lint-free cloth remove excess moisture and place your hearing aids with drying crystals in an airtight container overnight.

  4. You can also try swapping the left and right hearing aid receiver-in-canal (RIC) wires to determine if the issue is the RIC wire or the hearing aid. Disconnect the RIC wire from the right hearing aid and connect it to the left hearing aid instead. Do the same with the other RIC wire.

If you swap RIC wires and the issue follows the RIC wire to the other hearing aid, the issue is with the RIC wire. However, if you swap RIC wires and the issue stays with the same hearing aid, the issue is with the hearing aid. After testing this, be sure to reconnect the left and right RIC wires to the corresponding hearing aids.

If the steps provided don't resolve your issue, the hearing aid may need service. Give one of our Lexie Experts® a call using the Lexie app or on (800) 499-1336 for further assistance.

Change your hearing aid domes

  1. With one hand, gently hold onto the RIC wire right next to where the dome connects to the RIC wire.
  2. With your other hand grab onto the front of the dome. Now slowly pull them apart. It should be fairly easy for the dome to release from the RIC wire.
  3. Take the new dome and push it slowly firmly onto the slim tube or RIC wire. Ensure that the dome is placed correctly onto the slim tube. You should be able to tug it slightly without removing it.

Change your wax guards

  1. Remove the dome from the receiver end of the RIC wire
  2. Insert the receiver end of the RIC wire into an empty "USED" slot
  3. Remove the receiver from the tool and rotate the tool to display the "NEW" slot.
  4. Firmly press the receiver end of the RIC wire into a new white wax guard.

Bluetooth® technology is a wireless standard used in devices to connect and stream information between them, provided all devices are Bluetooth compatible and the Bluetooth feature is enabled.

Bluetooth can be switched off on your smartphone or tablet by accessing the settings page. However, on Lexie B2 Hearing Aids, the Bluetooth function remains on automatically when your hearing aids are powered on.

Lexie B2 Hearing Aids will also allow you to stream phone calls directly from your iPhone® or Android™ device to your hearing aids using Bluetooth.

  1. Ensure your hearing aids are switched on by pressing the World Volume down buttons for three seconds on each hearing aid.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth to ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  3. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
  4. Under Accessibility tap the MFI Hearing Devices option.
  5. Tap on the name and or model number of your hearing aid(s) when it appears on the screen.
  6. Tap “Pair “to complete the connection. If you are pairing two hearing aids, you will receive two pairing requests. Each hearing aid will have a checkmark next to it once it's connected to your phone.

  4. Go to the Bluetooth section.

  6. If you can see two Lexie B2 Hearing Aids under the Paired Devices list, select each to connect to them. (once both hearing aids are connected they should combine into a single connected device "Lexie B2 Hearing Aids").
  7. If you don't see any Lexie B2 Hearing Aids under the Paired Devices list, select the option to scan for Bluetooth devices. Both of your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids should appear in the Available Devices section. Select each device from the list and accept any prompts given by your phone regarding Bluetooth pairing.

If the battery is running low or you are concerned about running out of battery power, you can make manual World Volume adjustments on the Lexie B2 Hearing Aids rather than the app.

Environments are groups of settings that you can apply update or create and quickly switch between depending on your situation or listening needs.

Your app is set with four standard Environments — Noisy Indoor, Outdoors, Music, and Everyday.

These standard Environments can be customized to your listening preferences. You are also able to create and save up to ten additional personal Environments, all customizable to your unique hearing needs.

To set up an Environment for your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids follow these steps:

Customize your standard Environments:

  1. On your controls screen set your preferred level of World Volume, Treble and Bass, and Directionality.
  2. Tap "Update Environment" at the bottom of the controls screen. Select the Environment you want to apply your settings to.
  3. A banner will appear on your Environment controller indicating that your settings have been applied.

Create a new personal Environment:

  1. On your controls screen set your preferred level of World Volume, Treble and Bass, and Directionality.
  2. Tap "Create new Environment" at the bottom of the controls screen.
  3. Type in the name of your new Environment, and a description (optional). Choose a cover photo.
  4. Tap "Save Environment". You will be directed back to the controls screen and your new Environment will be enabled. Your Environment can be found by navigating to Environments and then scrolling to the Personal Environments section.

Directionality is a setting that changes the focus of the microphones on your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids to different areas around you.

To adjust Directionality, on your controls screen, scroll to the Directionality controller. You can tap Everywhere or Front to adjust your selection.

TIP: You can save your prefered Directionality setting as a new Environment or update an existing Environment.

Treble and Bass are used to describe the high and low frequency sounds that are transmitted by your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids.

By adjusting the Treble and Bass setting within the Lexie app you can customize your listening experience so that sounds are natural and you have the best listening experience.

To adjust the Treble and Bass setting, navigate to the Equalizer controller on your controls screen. Drag the slider left to adjust Bass, or right to adjust Treble.

TIP: You can save your prefered Treble and Bass setting as a new Environment or update an existing Environment.

You can monitor the battery life of your hearing aids with the Lexie app. The Connection status indicators on your controls screen provide a view of your battery life.

The Lexie B2 Hearing Aids also keep track of battery usage and will play a "battery low" voice prompt through your hearing aids, letting you know that it's time to recharge your hearing aids.

To clean your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids, follow these steps:

Even with proper care, your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids' parts will eventually need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear.

To charge your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids follow these steps:

  1. Always make sure that the contacts of the hearing aid and charger are dry and free of debris before charging.
  2. Do not cover the charger case with a cloth or other object while charging.
  3. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the port on the back of the charging case.
  4. Connect the other end to a USB-A wall charger or computer (not provided).
  5. Place the hearing aids in the charging case in their right and left placeholders respectively. The hearing aids will automatically turn off once docked inside the case.
  6. The indicator light will flash when the hearing aids are charging. The light will stop flashing and stay solidly lit when the hearing aids are fully charged.
  7. When removing the hearing aids from the charging case, make sure to hold the hearing aid by the casing and not by the wire that connects to the receiver.
  8. The hearing aids take three hours to fully charge.

You'll know when your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids are fully charged when the charging status lights inside the charging case turn to a solid white light.

See page 62 of the user manual.

Your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids take three hours to fully charge.

You can easily check the charging status of your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids and charging case by looking at the lights inside the case. Here's what you'll see:

  • Flashing lights: When the lights are flashing, it means that your hearing aids are currently charging.
  • Solid lights: When the lights turn solid, it means that your hearing aids have reached a full charge.

If you need more information on how to read the charging status lights, you can refer to the "Battery Charging Status" section in your user manual.

The battery life of the Lexie B2 Hearing Aids is up to 18 hours with normal use.

However, the battery life per charge can vary depending on several factors, such as:

  • The volume level you prefer
  • How long you wear your hearing aids
  • How often you use the streaming feature to connect to your phone

Keep in mind that using the phone call streaming feature can cause the battery to drain faster. Even if you use this feature for 6 hours, your hearing aid battery should still last up to 18 hours overall.

If you hear a “battery low” voice prompt from one of the hearing aids, it's time to charge the hearing aids.

To know if your charging case is charging your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids, look for the white lights inside the case. When it's connected to a power source, these lights will start glowing.

When your hearing aids are fully charged, the lights will turn solid white, indicating that they're ready to use.

It takes about three hours for your hearing aids to fully charge.

TIP: Before charging your hearing aids in their charging case, make sure they're both clean and dry. This will ensure a smooth and safe charging process. Simply wipe them down with a dry lint free cloth before plugging them in.

You should be able to use your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids immediately after removing them from the charging case for the first time.

If you're still experiencing problems, contact our Lexie Experts® using the Lexie app, or call us on (800) 499-1336 or visit lexiehearing.com/us/support

Yes, each hearing aid contains a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It can be taken onto airplanes as carry-on luggage.

No. Each hearing aid contains a built-in and non-removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

No, the charging case must be connected to a wall socket through the USB-C connection, and the Lexie B2 Hearing Aids inserted into their relevant slots, in order for the hearing aids to charge.

On the Lexie app, your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids may show different battery levels for the left and right hearing aid.

  • If your charging case or hearing aids have been exposed to high temperatures, let them return to room temperature and then try charging again.
  • Try another wall charger or plug your charging case into your computer or laptop.
  • Check that the ends of your charging cable for any damage.
  • Check that the charging port at the back of your charging case for any damage.

TIP: Before charging your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids, make sure to inspect the charging contacts on the hearing aids and inside the case. If you notice any debris or dirt, use a dry lint free cloth to remove debris, ensuring proper contact between the devices. This will help prevent any issues with charging and ensure your hearing aids are getting the charge they need.

If this problem persists, contact our Lexie Experts® using the Lexie app, or call us on (800) 499-1336.

You can also check page 98 & 99 of the user manual for more troubleshooting tips.

To keep your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids working properly, it's important to clean the charging contacts at the bottom of your hearing aids and inside the charging case regularly. Simply use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe them clean.

If you're in a humid area, you may need to take extra steps to keep your hearing aids dry.

TIP: Before charging your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids check the charging contacts on both the devices and the case for any dirt or debris. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean them. This ensures good contact and prevents charging issues.

The following domes are included with your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids:

  • 3 x Pairs open domes (Size small, medium, large): These are better for when you have trouble with the sound of your own voice. These domes allow more external sounds into your ear. The hearing aid may seem a bit quieter when you wear one of these domes but it should still sound natural and clear.
  • 3 x Pairs closed domes (Size small, medium, large): They are better for when you are having trouble with whistling from your hearing aid or need the hearing aid to be a louder. Your ear will feel more blocked with this dome and it will take a bit of time to get used to your own voice.

If your hearing aids don't power on, the most common reasons are a low or dead battery or a blockage caused by wax or moisture.

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Clean your hearing aids and your charging case's charging points with a dry lint-free cloth.

  2. Charge your Lexie B2 Hearing Aids and see if your hearing aids power on.

  • Remove any earwax and debris from the domes, wax guards and microphone openings by using the cleaning brush or a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • If unable to clear debris from the wax guards or domes, replace them immediately.

Change your hearing aid domes

  1. With one hand, gently hold onto the RIC wire right next to where the dome connects to the RIC wire.

  2. Insert the receiver end of the RIC wire into an empty "USED" slot
  3. Remove the receiver from the tool and rotate the tool to display the "NEW" slot.
  4. Firmly press the receiver end of the RIC wire into a new white wax guard.
